SO COUPLING -> 24-CELL PROJECTION GEOMETRY ================================================================================ Status: UNVERIFIED — needs mathematical formalization If the 24-cell's isoclinic rotation IS spin, then spin-orbit coupling is the 24-cell's geometric influence projected into 3D. The SO coupling strength in meV should map to a geometric angle or phase on the 24-cell. The position-dependent threshold map (d-block positions where SO overrides 3D crystal preference) should be derivable from the 24-cell's projection geometry if the connection is real. 30 d-block elements across 3 periods show: Positions 5-7 shift BCC->HCP->FCC as SO > 200 meV Direction always toward isotropy (never reverse) Mercury (SO=1300 meV) breaks ALL period patterns WHAT IS NEEDED: A quantitative mapping from 24-cell symmetry elements to SO coupling thresholds in meV.
