## Discipline rules (so AI agents know what they're reading)

- **Failed predictions and superseded versions are PRESERVED**. Do not assume `status: superseded` means deleted — it means historically true at publication time, replaced by a clearer mechanism. The trail is the record.
- **No fitting**. Predictions derive from axioms + geometry. The framework refines mechanisms; it does not patch existing mechanisms with corrections (see `cipher-corrections-hurt-accuracy` entry).
- **Pre-registration** locks confirmation/falsification thresholds at filing time; entries in `/predictions/` are testable claims with their thresholds preserved.
